Truffles are the fruiting body of a subterranean fungus that grows in association with tree roots. In Sarrion we can find 2 main varieties of Black truffle, Tuber melanosporum and Tuber aestivum. These 2 varieties of truffles have a pungent aroma and the strongest taste of commercial black truffles..
